Charlton Neighbourhood House was funded under the DHHS Neighbourhood House Coordination Program funding in October 2018. The House officially opened its door on 18th February 2019 after establishing a committee of governance in December 2018 and appointing a coordinator in January 2019.
We are community driven and directed and the volunteer committee and the staff make all decisions on management; policies and procedures; planning; and finances based on what is in the best interest for the advancement of the Charlton community. Our Strategic Planning is based on the Charlton 2030 Plan and community consultation and input.
