About Us

​Charlton Neighbourhood House was funded under the DHHS Neighbourhood House Coordination Program funding in October 2018. The House officially opened its door on 18th February 2019 after establishing a committee of governance in December 2018 and appointing a coordinator in January 2019.
​
We are community driven and directed and the volunteer committee of fourteen and the staff make all decisions on management; policies and procedures; planning; and finances based on what is in the best interest for the advancement of the Charlton community.

There are always volunteering opportunities year-round with Charlton Neighbourhood House and the many organisations in our community. Call in and tell us your interests and we can align you with a group.
 
DONATE
Charlton Neighbourhood House appreciates donations in support of the work we do in the community. All of our donations are directly invested back into the community. Whether it is a once-off donation towards a particular program, sponsorship of an event or a bequest, all contributions are greatly appreciated. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
